The role: We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career working for a rapidly growing firm. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the growth and success of the platform. You will be supporting e-commerce brands of all sizes with their fulfilment search and will be working directly alongside the founder. Key responsibilities include: Building our outbound sales effort from the ground up Ensuring a personal frontline sales presence and being the first point of contact in initial stages of conversion Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to understand their requirements Maintaining accurate records in the company CRM system Providing regular updates on sales metrics, achievements and challenges and recommending improvements What we are looking for: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends. Generate leads through cold outreach to prospective clients via email, phone calls, LinkedIn and networking events. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the e-commerce industry. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding our market reach. Participate in meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their requirements. Track and report on sales metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for business growth. Provide feedback and insights to the product development team to enhance the functionality and usability of our platform. Support the overall business development efforts of the company and contribute to achieving sales targets and objectives. Qualifications: Experience in B2B business development. Experience in building outbound sales processes from scratch. Experience in cold calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound emails. Bachelor's degree. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus but not required.
