Samso Energy is a fast-growing renewable energy company dedicated to providing high-quality Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) solutions to both residential and commercial customers. With a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation, we help clients reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs with tailored clean energy solutions.


The Role


This is a 360° sales role — ideal for a confident, solutions-led salesperson who thrives on autonomy and variety. You’ll manage the entire sales cycle: from identifying and engaging target businesses, to designing proposals and closing deals that help clients reduce energy costs and meet their ESG goals.

You’ll work directly with business owners, directors, and decision-makers across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, food production, leisure, and hospitality — delivering practical, profitable renewable solutions.

Key Responsibilities


* Prospecting & Lead Generation:
* Identify, research, and engage SME businesses across the UK with high energy usage and strong potential for renewable adoption.
* Outreach & Pipeline Management:
* Manage your own outreach campaigns (calls, email, LinkedIn, events) and build a strong, qualified pipeline of opportunities.
* Consultative Sales & Pitching:
* Conduct discovery calls, site assessments, and deliver professional presentations via Teams or in person — clearly articulating technical and financial benefits.
* Proposal Development:
* Work with the design and commercial teams to develop tailored proposals, including ROI, payback and savings models.
* Negotiation & Closing:
* Lead commercial negotiations and manage deals through to signature, ensuring clients receive an exceptional experience throughout.
* Market Development:
* Contribute ideas, insights, and feedback to shape Samso Energy’s SME outreach strategy and future product offering.

Essential Skills & Experience


* Proven B2B sales experience (SME or mid-market focus)
* Track record in prospecting, cold outreach, and pipeline management
* Experience running a full sales cycle – from lead generation to close
* Skilled in consultative/solution-based sales with a focus on ROI and business impact
* Confident delivering professional pitches via Teams and in-person
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
