Role Information
Main Purpose of the Post:
Our assessors are central to serving our employer clients and their apprentices, supporting and guiding them throughout their learning journey. We seek a bricklaying assessor experienced in TLA and NVQ frameworks, capable of developing apprentices' skills, behaviors, and competencies in construction, specifically Carpentry & Joinery.
Key qualities required include:

* Strong administration and paperwork skills
* Effective classroom management skills
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting learner inductions and related processes
* Delivering a learning timetable as agreed with the Centre Manager
* Planning and delivering qualifications in collaboration with team members and the Centre Manager
* Completing ILPs tailored to individual learners, including smart targets and review points
* Maintaining accurate registers and documentation, communicated within deadlines
* Monitoring attendance and performance, reporting to management
* Providing support to facilitate retention, achievement, and progression
* Completing assessments and documentation promptly to meet organizational and external requirements
* Submitting portfolios for verification in a timely manner
* Contributing to learner disciplinary processes when necessary
* Managing equipment logs and preventing theft
* Attending team and standardization meetings
* Undertaking moderation activities
* Promoting safe working practices per health and safety legislation
* Engaging in ongoing professional development and maintaining CPD records
* Ensuring a safe, clean work environment daily
* Delivering weekend courses on a rotational basis if required
* Supporting learners, customers, and colleagues daily
* Upholding company values and expected behaviors
* Promoting diversity and equal opportunities
* Adhering to safeguarding, Prevent, and health and safety policies, remaining vigilant to risks
* Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
