Based at Carlsberg Britvic Rugby, the cleaning operative is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for tenants and visitors. The role follows a shift pattern, although flexibility may be required at times to cover holidays and absences within the cleaning team.
The Role
1. Follow the scheduled cleaning rota and maintain full knowledge of assigned areas
2. Carry out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks as requested
3. Demonstrate proper use of all cleaning equipment and materials
4. Operate pedestrian and ride-on scrubber dryers/sweepers safely and correctly
5. Respond promptly to emergency situations or spillages during shift hours
6. Stock and move items into client fridges and shop areas
7. Maintain and replenish PPE stock areas as required
8. Follow all client and ISS company rules and safety regulations
9. Cooperate with requests from the client, managers, and colleagues
About You
10. Previous cleaning and or housekeeping experience is essential
11. Calm, professional and focused approach
12. Ability to work under pressure
13. Positive “can-do” attitude
14. Ability to work as part of a team
15. Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams
16. Ability to read English at a basic level, and a good level of spoken communication
