Job Description – Estimator (Roofing & Cladding) Location: Bradford / Hybrid Reporting to: Managing Director ROLE OVERVIEW An experienced Estimator – Roofing & Cladding is required to take full responsibility for the estimating function within a specialist subcontracting environment. This is a senior-level role with significant commercial responsibility, suited to an individual capable of independently managing, pricing and submitting bids, engaging directly with clients, and contributing to the development of repeat and negotiated workstreams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Estimating & Commercial Responsibility * Manage, prioritise and track all incoming enquiries. * Log new enquiries and maintain accurate bid status records. * Produce detailed take-offs from drawings, specifications and schedules. * Price roofing and cladding packages including: * Composite panel systems * Rainscreen cladding * Built-up roofing systems * Standing seam roofing * Flashings, gutters and interfaces * Prepare full cost plans and breakdowns covering materials, labour, plant, access, preliminaries and subcontract elements. * Obtain, analyse and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations. * Identify and clearly define risks, assumptions, exclusions and value...
