The practice is purpose built with some great facilities including operating theatre, 3 dedicated consult rooms, large prep area, x-ray room and isolation block with separate cat and dog kennels.
We are currently a 3 vet practice, who are supported by 4 RVN's, 1 SVN's, 1 PM and 5 Receptionists.
We are a training practice and have a varied workload and perform a full range of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. We are also happy to support all staff members with opportunities for further development once qualified.
This role is full time up to 39 hours per week, with no on call, and Saturdays are covered on a rota basis (9am-1pm)
Person Specification
You will have a good experience of veterinary nursing, excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player and able to use your own initiative when required. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. We support any team members who are interested in developing their skills. An interest in Clinical Coaching/ Supervising and supporting our student nurses would be advantageous (training not essential and will be provided if interested in the future)
