Employability Skills Tutor
Location: Field Based - East Midlands | Contract: Full time, Permanent | Salary: [£24,000 - £29,000

We are now looking for a dedicated Employability Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality training that helps learners achieve qualifications, develop workplace skills, and progress into sustainable employment.
The role
As an Employability Skills Tutor, you will:

Deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment across Employability, Customer Service, and Functional Skills (Maths & English).

Inspire learners to develop practical tools such as CV writing, interview techniques, job search strategies, and workplace behaviours.
*
Tailor learning to individual needs, ensuring all learners achieve their qualifications and feel prepared for employment.
*
Track and support learner progress, identifying barriers and helping individuals overcome challenges.
*
Create a motivating, supportive environment that enables learners to achieve the best possible outcomes.
What we’re looking for
*
A recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 or above, or working towards).
*
Experience in education, training, or employability delivery.
*
Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
*
Confidence in delivering both group sessions and one-to-one support.
*
Commitment to safeguarding, continuous professional development, and high-quality teaching.
*
An understanding of Ofsted requirements and ESFA funding rules is desirable.
