We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary maintenance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime of critical production equipment and site services through both reactive and planned maintenance activities. Shift: Permanent Nights - Monday to Thursday - Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment, including controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma, and Mitsubishi. - Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems, including control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, National Instruments) and associated instrumentation such as load cells, torque transducers, and pressure transducers. - Support maintenance of process equipment, including Heat Treatment and Plating facilities. - Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation. - Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and drawings. - Conduct electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications. - Support key facility and infrastructure systems. - Operate flexibly within a multi-skilled maintenance environment when required. - Apply safe, efficient, and effective maintenance practices to maximise equipment availability. - Liaise with external service providers and parts suppliers. - Contribute to Root Cause Analysis of breakdowns and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Qualifications - ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. - Time-served apprenticeship qualified to NVQ Level 3.
