Masting Operative Jobs in Newcastle at Stannah – Join Our Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Masting Operative to join Stannah based at Newburn.
This job will involve ensuring all products meet % Right First Time (RFT) standards before being delivered to the end customer. You will be responsible for inspecting, finishing, and verifying that the product meets all technical and cosmetic specifications.
As the Masting Operative, you will work 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 06:15 to 16:00.
This is a permanent contract.

To be successful as the Masting Operative it is essential that you have previous experience in:
1. Interpreting and working from technical drawings
2. Finishing and inspection processes using hand/air tools
Experience in working to fine tolerances and at height, or within a manufacturing or engineering environment, would be desirable.
Masting Operative Responsibilities:
3. Completing jobs to specification and within agreed timelines
4. Reading and interpreting product drawings accurately
5. Ensuring delivery of products meets QCD requirements
6. Performing polishing and cosmetic finishing using air tools
7. Supporting continuous improvement and cross-skilling efforts
Masting Operative Requirements:
8. Ability to plan, prioritise, and organise workloads effectively
9. Skilled in interpreting and reporting technical data
10. Comfortable working at height and following safety procedures
11. Strong communication and team collaboration skills
