Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial records and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounting processes. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable functions.
We are an established company specialising in the sales and marketing of military equipment. We wish to recruit an efficient, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of accounts and administrative duties previous experience is essential
Duties include:
* Sage Line 50
* Excel – use of spreadsheets
* Entering purchases on to stock
* Updating daily sale reports (stock sheet and DPL)
* Keeping track of goods sold for 3rd party customers
* Daily VAT invoicing
* Closing month end and finalising sales
* VAT refunds to overseas customers
* Ad hoc invoices when required – rent/electricity
* Usage of Nominal codes
* Requesting vehicle paperwork from suppliers
* Paying suppliers when necessary
* Approving Bankline payments
* Daily emails from customers
* Telephone queries
* Arranging DHL
* Posting out vehicle paperwork to customers
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,420.00-£33,541.54 per year
