About the roleThe Clinical Administration Team Lead will manage and support the clinical administrative service across our Adult Hospices; St Barnabas and Martlets. They will ensure that high-quality, efficient and responsive administrative systems are in place to support clinical teams in delivering outstanding, patient-centred end-of-life care. They'll lead a dedicated team, oversee service performance, maintain robust clinical records, and play a key role in ensuring compliance with governance, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.Key duties and responsibilities· Lead and develop a multi-site clinical administration team, managing rotas, workload, recruitment, induction, appraisals and ongoing development· Oversee day-to-day clinical administration services, ensuring robust systems, business continuity and consistent, high standards across all adult services· Champion effective use of clinical systems, including electronic patient records, access management, NHS Smartcards and external clinical platforms· Drive service improvement, reviewing and streamlining administrative processes, developing SOPs and contributing to projects and change initiatives· Work collaboratively and compassionately, building strong relationships with clinical teams, families and external contacts while upholding governance, safeguarding and data protection standardsAbout usSouthern Hospice Group is the largest group of hospices in Sussex and one of the largest in the UK.
