Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out detail design activities to meet the requirements of design for manufacture
2. Hand calculationsand preliminary sizing of components, including material selection, gear rating, shaft and bearing analysis, rotor dynamics, other drive system elements including structural components, couplings, lubrication systems, relevant instrumentation and control systems
3. CAD activities including conceptual design, 3D and 2D modelling. Create component and complexassembly drawings. Drawing and technical documentation checking. BOM and gear data generation and engineering change control processing
4. Manufacturing drawings generation with a clear understanding and application of Design for Manufacture principles
5. Create deliverable documentation including Manuals, Installation and Maintenance instructions as necessary
