Job overview
The Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will use and develop specialist knowledge to provide healthcare independently to patients. The Trainee ACP is accountable for the total episode of care for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs. The post holder will model advanced practice, promote clinical effectiveness, and develop leadership skills for autonomous delivery of independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making, planning of care and treatment, prescribing, health promotion and safe discharge. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the service’s operational and strategic development, and promote evidence-based practice, clinical audit and research within the Trust. The role involves autonomous practice within a defined clinical area and compliance with Apprenticeship programme requirements. The post holder will ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution.

* Evidence of continuous professional development and practical application of new skills to the workplace, demonstrating specialist expertise underpinned by theory
Qualifications
* Honours Degree (Level 6)
* Registered Professional, with current registration (NMC, HCPC, RPS)
* Evidence of Masters (Level 7) study
