We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a New Partnerships Manager. We need you to be responsible for acquiring high value partnerships that generate income and non-financial value for CRUK and benefits to the partner.
Responsibilities
* Being responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of prospects that meet the objectives and priorities of CRUK strategy and the Partnership Team's strategy
* Being responsible for developing prospects through a sales pipeline process, managing records and reporting on outcomes
* Collaborating with Managers to support the acquisition of new partnerships and the development of existing partnerships
* Working with Managers to share insights on your discrete area of focus and identify opportunities for prospects within sectors, industry and partnerships types
* Leading pitches and application processes, working collaboratively to deliver the opportunities through a matrix way of working
* Delivering against new partnerships targets, reporting on progress and risks to the Senior Manager
* Leading the due diligence and legal process for your areas of work, adhering to compliant criteria for CRUK partnerships

* Confident communicator with the ability to match opportunities to objectives
* Experience of securing partnerships in either a charity or business to business environment
* Experience of negotiating and positively influencing outcomes to secure new opportunities of financial and non-financial value
* Evidence you can build long term relationships with high level stakeholders internally and externally
* Evidence of excellent presentation skills
* Knowledge of the charity sector and the charity partnerships market
* Evidence of excellent communication style which lends to a confident and persuasive approach
* Evidence of ability to be solution focused, with good problem-solving skills
* Resilience and the ability to work under pressure/proactive and dynamic approach
