Role & Responsibilities
The Equipment Technician is responsible for the preparation, maintenance and testing of MBSE rental equipment. The Equipment Technician will ensure equipment meets high quality standards both before and after rental. Key duties include PAT testing, function checks, minor repairs and inventory tracking. Technicians must report damages whilst maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure equipment is always rental ready. The role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and training including manual and mechanical handling. Liaise with external contractors, support inventory management and work closely with senior management and operational staff to meet business needs.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be organised with a high attention to detail and driven to maintain the highest standards of quality and service. They must be IT literate with the ability to learn and use in-house asset management systems. Experience of working in fast-paced environments whilst managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines is essential. Excellent communication skills along with the ability to build strong working relationships both collaboratively or independently within a team. The candidate should also be flexible with working hours, including overtime and occasional weekends when required by the business.
Whats on offer
This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour working week, operating on a rotating shift basis between 7:00am and 8:00pm, which includes some weekend work.
