The Wales Mobility and Driving Assessment Service is a charitable organisation part funded by the Welsh Government, dedicated to supporting individuals across Wales. With its head office in Cardiff, the service operates additional centres at Glan Clwyd Hospital in North Wales and outreach locations at Pembroke Community Hospital and Montgomery Community Hospital in mid-Wales. It is committed to providing comprehensive driving and mobility solutions for all residents of Wales.
Role Description

Salary £21.28 per hour
Part-time 15 hours
Hours 9.00am to 4pm

The Wales Mobility & Driving Assessment Service are currently recruiting for a qualified, HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (part-time) or Clinician to be involved with assessment and advice for people wishing to drive and/or access vehicles with various health problems and disabilities, working in conjunction with Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) and an administration team. We are ideally looking for someone who holds a current driving licence with previous experience of working with patients/clients with various neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
An induction period is provided with training, ongoing supervision and professional development.

Qualifications
* HCPC Certificate
* Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities, ensuring professional and empathetic interactions
* Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle adaptation and mobility solutions desirable
* Relevant professional qualifications in occupational therapy or related fields
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
* Conduct assessment and advise people wishing to drive and/or use vehicles with various health problems and disabilities.
* Work in conjunction with Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) and the administration team to deliver comprehensive driving and mobility solutions.
* Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on assessment outcomes.
* Participate in an induction period, training, ongoing supervision and professional development activities.
