Part-Time Customer Service Assistant

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Part-Time Customer Service Assistant to join our friendly team at The Boatside Inn – a busy, quality-led rural pub serving great food, local ales and warm hospitality.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who's ready to take the next step. The role will involve working across bar and waiting duties, delivering excellent service and ensuring every guest has a warm and memorable experience.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing friendly, professional table service
* Working behind the bar, including drinks preparation
* Supporting the team during busy service periods
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Assisting with opening and closing duties
* Helping create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
What We're Looking For
* Previous hospitality experience preferred
* Strong customer service skills
* A positive, proactive attitude
* Ability to work evenings and weekends
* A team player with good communication skills
Hours
Part-time hours available, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility required.
Progression Opportunity
There is potential for the right candidate to develop into a full-time supervisor role within 6 months.
