Your new role
As a Cost Management Associate Director, you will take a senior leadership role across major data centre projects, driving cost strategy from early feasibility through to final account.
You will operate as a key commercial lead, partnering with clients, guiding decision-making, and ensuring cost certainty across highly technical, fast-paced environments. This is a role where your expertise will directly influence the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.
You will:
* Lead cost management across large-scale data centre developments
* Develop and manage budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
* Provide commercial insight and value engineering in complex technical environments
* Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations
* Manage contract administration and change control
* Monitor financial performance, risks, and strategic reporting
* Act as a senior client interface and mentor high-performing teams
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
* Proven track record delivering £50m+ construction projects
* Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments (strongly preferred)
* Background within a consultancy environment
* Excellent commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
* Degree qualified; MRICS or similar accreditation desirable
