Happy Days Nurseries Charlton Heights in Bristol is seeking a kind and friendly Unqualified Nursery Assistant to join their welcoming team.
What Will You Be Doing
As an Unqualified Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters children’s development from birth to 5 years old. Previous experience working with children, passion for childcare, creativity, and dedication will make you an essential part of our team.
While working with our younger children, there will be an opportunity to complete NVQ alongside a supportive, highly qualified team.
A key part of the role involves planning and implementing engaging learning activities for a group of children, catering to their interests and developmental stages, while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
We foster a team ethos within our nurseries, so you will collaborate effectively to maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery that prioritizes children and families.
Our Nursery Assistants communicate effectively with families, building professional relationships and keeping them informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in childcare, with experience in a nursery or early years setting being essential.
Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the ability to implement it effectively, or willingness to undertake training, is vital. Planning meaningful educational activities and safeguarding children are also key responsibilities.
Experience in building positive relationships with children, parents, and families is essential. Candidates with relevant experience working with children will be considered.
