About You
* Previous bookkeeping experience within a professional services environment desirable
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
* Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
About Your New Role
Always
* Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
* Prepare monthly and year-end financial information
* Assist with VAT returns and audit preparation
* Support the wider finance team with reporting and analysis
Often
* Manage billing and invoicing processes
* Monitor outstanding balances and follow up where required
* Assist with preparation of financial reports and annual accounts support schedules
Occasionally
* Process employee expenses and petty cash
* Support process improvement initiatives and training activities
Never
* Work endless overtime just to keep on top of the basics
* Open a spreadsheet and discover the formatting has developed a mind of its own
