We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Restaurant Cleaner to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Restaurant Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and other public spaces. You will ensure the restaurant meets health and safety standards while providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize dining areas, floors, windows, and other surfaces regularly.
* Ensure bathrooms are clean, stocked, and maintained throughout the day.
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
* Clean kitchen and back-of-house areas, including equipment, trash bins, and storage spaces.
* Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately and follow proper waste management procedures.
* Assist with the setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the management team.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
* Work efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure the restaurant is ready for service.
Requirements:
* Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting, is a plus but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness to a high standard.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
