Band 4 Apprentice Patient Pathway Co-ordinator (secretary)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Endoscopy Unit as an Apprentice Patient Pathway Coordinator. You will oversee the patient journey, working with booking staff to ensure patients are scheduled according to NHS principles and target waiting times.
Requirements include proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, experience in data entry, and good typing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
This role involves completing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship. Candidates who already hold this qualification at Level 3 or above are not eligible.

Eligibility criteria include:
1. Being 18 years or older
2. Having the right to work in the UK
3. Having been permanently resident in the UK for the past 3 years
Note: The position is initially a fixed-term contract, which will become permanent upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the secretarial workload for Gastroenterology Consultants
* Collaborating with the Service Manager and Line Manager to ensure administrative processes meet quality standards
* Managing all incoming and outgoing communications efficiently, including vetting correspondence and ensuring appropriate actions are taken
