Mechanical Lead Engineer – Stratford, London – FM Service Provider - Up to £53,000 per annum
CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Lead Engineer to be based at a large, modern estate in the Stratford area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established on-site engineering team, working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Mechanical Lead Engineer will be part of a team of circa 10 engineers, supervising one direct report while supporting the wider team. The role operates on a rotating early and late shift pattern (7:00am–3:00pm / 10:00am–6:00pm). The position is split approximately 60% administrative duties and 40% hands-on mechanical maintenance, combining leadership responsibilities with practical involvement on site. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high service standards are essential.
Key duties & Responsibilities
* Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Supervisor
* Arrange specialist sub-contractors
* Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Contract Manager & Supervisor)
* Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
* Attend client meetings if required
* Statutory Compliance
Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
* 7:00am–3:00pm / 10:00am–6:00pm (Rotated Weekly)
* Call out 1 in 7
Requirements
* Mechanical Qualifications – Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent
* Client facing and presentable
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Hard working honest and reliable
* Familiar with E-Log books (Highly desirable)
