About The Department
Our Quality Services department consists of a small team of technologists who are responsible for the delivery of both audit and calibration services to an international customer base spanning 5 continents.
Audits are conducted as part of our Laboratory Accreditation Programme which is used by consumer goods manufacturers, largely footwear manufacturers, to achieve accurate and repeatable in-house product testing capabilities. We ensure ongoing compliance to the requirements of our accreditation programme through the annual audit of each accredited laboratory, as well as the technical assessment of laboratory staff in the testing undertaken.
Our calibration services compliment our auditing activities and this involves the calibration of physical testing equipment used by commercial, production-based and SATRA Accredited laboratories worldwide. SATRA's calibration service is fully traceable to national standards laboratories and the department works to an ISO 17025: 2017 quality system.
Our technologists are skilled in both auditing and calibration and are able to deliver both services to customers worldwide.
