Overview
We have an excellent opportunity to join the Trust's People Services Team as our Senior Organisational Development & Inclusion Advisor, for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave (18.75 hours per week) - fixed term contract or secondment.
The Senior Organisation Development and Inclusion Adviser will provide a customer-focused, high-quality approach to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda as well as the Organisation Development agenda. This includes involvement with the annual national Staff Survey roll-out.
The post holder will contribute to the provision of a compassionate and effective People Service Team and will provide a wide range of advice, support and development for junior members of the team. The post holder will work in collaboration with the wider People Services Team, in partnership with line management and trade union colleagues to provide a comprehensive service that supports the organisation's business objectives.
You will design and deliver staff development courses through WRES, WDES, and Equality Delivery System (EDS) mandatory requirements, and lead on our work on sexual safety through our Action Plan and meetings. You will implement the HR and EDI Strategy action plans with regular monitoring and reporting to the People and Culture Committee. The post is responsible for providing OD & Inclusion service and advice across the Trust.
The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology. You will inform and support a portfolio of OD programmes, wellbeing services, and EDI initiatives. As part of the People Team, you will work in partnership with People Services colleagues to provide support to managers/teams within the Trust on all OD and Inclusion issues, ensuring that all advice supports Trust objectives in accordance with legislation, NHS & Trust policies and procedures and best practice. You will actively support the implementation and development of the Trust Inclusion Strategy, working closely with the OD wider People Services Team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, delivering and facilitating sessions/initiatives that sit under the OD and Inclusion agenda. You will facilitate a range of internal Team/engagement learning events and workshops as a Team Lead, exploring and implementing new ways of working. You will develop and maintain technical skills in lean methodology to support facilitation of programmes and improvement events for organisational value streams. You will promote staff engagement across the Trust, working with managers/teams to develop and embed good, effective staff engagement initiatives. You will promote staff well-being across the Trust and work with the wider People Services Team and in conjunction with the Communications team to identify and implement inclusion and wellbeing initiatives that address findings from exit interviews, team/work area stress assessments, staff surveys etc. You will work with OD & Inclusion Teams in other organisations, including other NHS organisations, where required to support Trust and OD and inclusion priorities.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of experience with a minimum level 5 attainment in human resources or related subject. You will work across all levels of the organisation with a broad range of stakeholders and demonstrate experience of developing and maintaining relationships and providing advice on organisational development and inclusion.
