Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s leading providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Rutland, accessible via public transport.
About the role: As a Lead Speech & Language Therapist, you will work in two specialist secondary schools to develop pupils' communication and interaction skills and support their physical and sensory needs, positively impacting their social, emotional, and mental health, and enhancing their engagement in learning across the curriculum.

Main responsibilities:
* Work independently within service policies and procedures
* Support service development within MDT and Clinical Governance structures
* Maintain safeguarding culture and ensure pupils' voices are heard and respected
Requirements:
* Degree in Speech & Language Therapy (SaLT)
* HCPC registration
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism, including complex trauma, mental health needs, and behaviors of concern
* Strategic leadership skills
* Collaborative working ability with partners
* Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
* Relevant professional development
* Post-qualification experience with adults
* Experience in lecturing, teaching, or training
* Data management skills for service delivery and development projects
