Job Title: Sales and Valuation Negotiator

Role Summary:
The Sales and Valuation Negotiator is responsible for generating new business through property valuations, securing listings, conducting viewings, and negotiating sales. The role is focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping the branch achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, persuasive, and client-focused professional with experience in estate agency and property valuation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Valuation Activities
* Conduct accurate property valuations and pitch services to potential clients.
* Convert valuation leads into instructions and ensure accurate pricing strategies.
* Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective buyers.
* Provide feedback to vendors and manage negotiations to achieve successful outcomes.
2. Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and buyers.
* Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and advice.
* Ensure a professional, responsive, and transparent client journey.
3. Sales Progression & Pipeline Management
* Track sales progress from offer acceptance to completion.
* Liaise with solicitors, surveyors, and mortgage brokers to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Maintain updated records in the CRM (e.g. Alto).
4. Marketing & Lead Generation
* Support the preparation of property listings with compelling descriptions and photography.
* Coordinate with marketing for portal listings (Rightmove, Zoopla, OTM) and social media promotion.
* Assist in generating leads through prospecting and networking.
5. Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure adherence to AML regulations, GDPR, and CPR.
* Collect, verify, and securely manage client documents and contracts.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records of property and client interactions.
Education & Experience
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience in residential property sales or valuations.
* Proven experience in converting valuations to instructions and negotiating sales.
* Familiarity with UK property law, AML regulations, and GDPR is desirable.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Alto) and property portals.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic photography and digital listing skills.
