To support our dedicated team, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Business Manager to join our team to contribute to our ongoing success.
The School Business Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of our school. You will be responsible for the overseeing of the financial, administrative and HR functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the schools' operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for education to make a meaningful impact within our community.
The key responsibilities for this position are:
Financial management: In partnership with the Head Teacher and CFO, manage the school's budget, including monitoring income, expenditure and cash flow, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and compliance with financial regulations. Support the Head Teacher and CFO, to develop and implement the school's fund developing an income generation strategy, in line with the school improvement plan.
Administrative oversight: Oversee the administrative functions such as procurement, data returns, health and safety and school admissions to ensure the smooth running of the school.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the schools' strategic plan, working closely with the senior leadership team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including staff, parents, governors and external partners.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including safeguarding, GDPR and health and safety.
Human Resources: Oversee HR processes including the recruitment of all new staff, pre-employment checks, induction, training, payroll and absence management.
The successful candidate will have:
