Neway have a vacancy for a Team Manager to join the Tenancy Rights, Advice & Enforcement team based with London Borough of Lambeth. Location: SW2 Work Pattern: Minimum 2 days per week on site Lambeth Council is recruiting a Team Manager to lead a new Tenancy Rights, Advice & Enforcement Team, created in response to the Renters’ Rights Act (RRA). This is a 52‑week temporary assignment, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of tenancy rights, unlawful eviction prevention, and enforcement activity across the private rented sector. You will manage a team of four officers delivering specialist advice, casework, and regulatory enforcement to protect tenants, tackle harassment and illegal eviction, and strengthen homelessness prevention. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a high‑performing team delivering tenancy rights advice, casework, and enforcement Oversee investigations into breaches of tenancy law, ensuring evidence meets legal standards Work with Legal Services to progress civil penalties and criminal prosecutions Provide expert guidance on tenancy law, security of tenure, harassment, and unlawful eviction Ensure residents receive accurate, timely, person‑centred advice Drive service improvements, operational policy development, and quality assurance Build strong partnerships with Homelessness Prevention, ASC, CSC, Health, VAWG services, and voluntary sector partners Support Lambeth’s strategic aims to create a fairer, safer private rented sector What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of tenancy law, unlawful eviction, harassment, and investigatory frameworks Experience managing or supervising complex casework in a statutory or regulatory setting Proven ability to lead teams, develop policy, and improve operational practice Excellent communication, partnership‑working, and leadership skills A proactive, trauma‑informed, resident‑centred approach
