Band 3H, circa £38,719 per annum, pro rata, plus 8% shift allowance, plus benefits
Role Overview
In this role, you will manage, risk assess, and monitor Registered Sex Offenders living within the Thames Valley area, whilst managing and monitoring persons subject to the Sexual Offences Act (2003) and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). You may also be required to complete attachments to the MOSOVO Investigation Team to develop and support investigations for offences identified.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
2. Experience in communicating with internal/external customers at all levels and handling complaints.
3. Ability to work confidentially and independently with flexibility.
4. Good analytical skills to record and capture fine detail.
5. Emotional resilience for high-trauma situations.
6. Experience in report writing and interest in digital technology.
7. Willingness to achieve and maintain PIP 1 accreditation.
8. Completion of annual public contact training and physiological screening.
9. Full UK driving licence, as travel across the Force is required.
10. Ability to work on-site, with occasional work from home upon agreement.
Additional Requirements
The role involves working a 12-week shift pattern, with flexibility to submit a 22-hour pattern for consideration, aligning with the full-time pattern and including late and weekend shifts. The role requires working flexibly, including unsocial hours and lone working, with safety considerations for travel. An enhanced vetting process and psychological screening are mandatory.
