Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Alsager who are looking for a full-time Science Teacher to start in January 2026. The school are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is able to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, whilst fostering a love of science.
About the role:
* Full-time starting in January 2026
* Long-term role with opportunity for a permanent contract with the school
* Paid to scale
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will work collaboratively with the department to ensure lesson plans are regularly updated to reflect student progress and ability, as well as creating innovative practical lessons. Additionally, you will assess and monitor pupil progress through formal and informal assessments, providing both live and written feedback.

* QTS with a strong background in science
* A genuine passion for the subject and an ability to create an environment where students can access their full potential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
* A calm and empathetic approach to behaviour management
* Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching/behaviour management techniques
