Technip Energies is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Supervisor to oversee and promote HSE standards on the Net Zero Teesside Power Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible working environment across all project activities. This person will need to have previous experience working as an HSE Supervisor within ME&I discipline.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with project requirements and regulatory compliance.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
* Promote a strong safety culture among all project personnel through training, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives.
* Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns, ensuring thorough reporting and follow-up to prevent recurrence.
* Coordinate with project client and principal contractor to ensure HSE compliance and best practices are maintained.
* Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure all personnel are trained and competent in HSE procedures and emergency response protocols.
* Monitor environmental impacts and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project sustainability goals.
* Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reporting in line with company and regulatory requirements.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance across the project.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor or similar role within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of UK HS & CDM legislation, standards, and best practices.
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Commitment to safety excellence and environmental stewardship.
* Specific experience in ME & I field.
