We’re looking for an experienced HR Associate with a strong recruitment and staffing focus to support our managers during a busy and exciting period for the College.
The Role
This is a hands‑on, people-facing role where recruitment is front and centre. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth, compliant and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
* Managing end-to‑end recruitment, from vacancy approval to onboarding
* Screening applications, coordinating shortlisting and interviews
* Supporting managers to recruit efficiently, effectively and cost‑consciously
* Issuing contracts, coordinating inductions and ensuring timely starts
* Maintaining recruitment data, tracking activity and producing reports
* Ensuring compliance with safer recruitment requirements and the Single Central Record
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified
* Experienced in recruitment, HR administration and employee relations
* Confident managing multiple vacancies and priorities at pace
* Highly organised, detail-focused and confident using HR systems
* Knowledgeable in employment law and safer recruitment practices
* Professional, approachable and comfortable advising managers
Experience in the FE or education sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
