Overview
Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join their team initially for 6-months but with the possibility of extension. This is a key role within the business, supporting the production of high-quality components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate Mazak Integrex CNC machine tools
* Load, prove, and run CNC programs accurately
* Set cutting tools and establish tool and workpiece datums
* Monitor tool condition and carry out basic tool maintenance as required
* Perform self-inspection of finished components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
Requirements
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
* Strong knowledge of Mazak / Mazatrol controls
* Confident interpreting engineering drawings and planning layouts
* High attention to detail with the ability to carry out self-inspection
* Proactive approach to problem-solving, tooling, and machine care
