A secondary school we work closely with which is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our school on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to inspire students and contribute to a creative and engaging Music curriculum. The post is initially from 2 March to 17 April, with the potential for extension.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Music across Key Stages
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
* Assess and monitor student progress effectively
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music
* Is an effective and reflective classroom practitioner
* Can build positive relationships with students and staff
* Does not require QTS, although QTS is desirable
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
