Maintenance Fitter - Recycling Plant
We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a busy recycling centre. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and supporting the smooth operation of plant machinery and site equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery
* Welding and fabrication work when required
* Basic electrical fault finding and repairs
* Plumbing and general site maintenance
* Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Previous experience in plant maintenance or a similar industrial environment
* Ability to weld and carry out basic fabrication
* Knowledge of electrics and plumbing
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
* Flexible with working hours
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 07:00 - 16:00 (times may vary, flexibility required)
* Weekend work available when required (must be available if needed)
Pay
* £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
