A leading international law firm is seeking to recruit an Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its highly regarded Competition practice in London.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a market‑leading UK and EU competition team on high‑profile and complex antitrust matters. The team advises an impressive global client base on cutting‑edge issues, spanning both advisory and contentious work.
The Role
The incoming associate will work on a broad range of competition matters, including:
* EU and UK merger control
* Article 101 / Chapter 1 matters (including cartel investigations)
* Abuse of dominance (Article 102 / Chapter 2)
* Competition litigation
* Strategic competition advisory projects
You will work closely with colleagues across London, Brussels, and the wider global network and gain exposure to significant multi‑jurisdictional mandates.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be UK‑ or EU‑qualified with 2-4 years’ PQE
* Have strong academics
* Bring experience in at least some of the following areas: merger control, cartel matters, abuse of dominance, or competition litigation
* Have experience working in London or Brussels
* Ideally have interacted with the European Commission and/or UK competition authorities
* Be committed to developing their career in antitrust within a top‑tier practice
