Management Accountant – HFD Group Ltd Bellshill, Strathclyde Business Park Salary up to £45,000 (DOE) Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be working exclusively with HFD Group Ltd, one of Scotland’s leading commercial property companies, to recruit a Management Accountant for their Central Finance Team based at Avondale House in Bellshill. Key responsibilities include: Preparing monthly management accounts for designated companies Reviewing monthly journals and VAT returns Supporting with cashflows, budgets, and VAT turnover reconciliations Involvement in ad hoc financial projects across the wider group We’re seeking an accountant with experience in producing management accounts, ideally gained within industry. However, we will also consider candidates from accountancy practice within accounts and business advisory roles who have hands-on experience preparing management accounts. You will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience in financial modelling would be advantageous, and familiarity with Sage Intact, Released, and Caseware is preferred, though not essential. A solid understanding of VAT and CIS operations is important for this role. The successful applicant will be a proactive, flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills. This is a fully office-based role offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. Study support will be provided after the probationary period for those who require it. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with core hours of 9:30am to 4pm.
