Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join the Arun Community Assessment and Treatment service based in Littlehampton, which is part of the Arun Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Coastal West Sussex. The Arun NMHT/Littlehampton ATS covers a geographical area aligned with GP surgeries to facilitate liaison with Primary Care colleagues. This position is based at Pepperville House, Littlehampton.
Responsibilities
* Conduct new assessments, including detailed evaluations and risk assessments, and develop management plans.
* Review patients already known to the ATS as needed and direct their treatment.
* Liaise with local primary care services and offer advice and guidance.
* Supervise junior medical staff and advise other team members, including the duty worker.
* Provide senior clinical leadership to the ATS alongside fellow medics.
