Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Contract)
Rate: £500-600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: West London
Contract Length: Long-term contract, forecast to January 2026
I am looking for an experienced, contractor-side Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start on a long-term contract in West London.
The Quantity Surveyor will take commercial lead on a major civils package and provide commercial and contractual support to a number of large subcontract pacakges on the project.
Key Responsibilities & Experience Required:
* Full Subcontract Management: Demonstrable experience managing the entire subcontractor lifecycle: drafting instructions, assessing Compensation Events (CEs), processing Applications for Payment (AFPs), and reporting final account positions.
* Contractor Background: You must have recent experience working directly for a main contractor on major civils or building projects.
* NEC Expert: Practical knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and subcontract is essential.
* Systems: Proficient with commercial management software, specifically CEMAR.
On offer is a long-term contract opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a high profile infrastructure project. The role is Inside IR35 and offers a day rate of £500-600 per day, based on experience. The role is based in West London and requires 4 days on site.
