Lead Piping Engineer About the Role Jackson Hogg is recruiting for a Lead Piping Engineer to join a leading EPC engineering business in Cramlington to work on Onshore oil & gas and renewable energy projects. The Lead Piping Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of on complex piping projects and provide technical expertise internally and with clients. This role is full time and permanent. Main Responsibilities of the Lead Piping Engineer * Lead and supervise a team of engineers and designers, ensuring efficient resource allocation and high-quality outputs. * Deliver technical consultancy on piping-related issues to clients. * Oversee preparation, checking, and approval of design and engineering documentation. * Implement and maintain best practices in people management, systems, and processes. * Support business development activities by providing technical expertise. Essential Requirements for this Lead Piping Engineer Position: * Degree qualified (Desirable) or HNC level qualification with additional experince. * Extensive experience in piping engineering within the onshore oil & gas/renewable energy sectors. * Proven track record of leading multi-discipline projects. Desirable requirements for this Lead Piping Engineer position: * Degree level qualification in Engineering. * Chartered Engineer status. * Experience in developing and mentoring engineering teams.
