My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Assistant Director of Strategy, Insight & Performance on a Contract basis.
The role will lead Strategy and Performance in particular, bringing strong, demonstrable experience in these areas.
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Central London (hybrid - 3 days on site):
This is a 1-year contract.
Be able to provide managerial oversight of Community Engagement, ensuring this work is effectively coordinated and aligned with wider priorities.
Manage and mobilise a new team and service, including onboarding, setting direction, and quickly establishing effective ways of working.
Operate at pace and deliver at high productivity as this is a fast-moving environment.
Contribute directly to delivery, not just oversight - the role requires someone who is hands-on and able to produce work as well as manage othersAbout you:
You will have the following experiences:
Extensive experience in Strategy, Insight, Performance and Communities.
Deep experience in project management and transformation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to navigate senior Council Leaders and Elected Members.
Local Authority experience is essential.What's on offer:
Salary: £700-£800 per day, inside IR35*negotiable based on experience
