Chief of Staff - Investment Family Office (Remote and visiting on site when required)

£130 – 175k DOE depending on content and level of experience.

Chief of Staff - Investments - Family Office (Remote and visiting on site when required). Mainly remote with occasional visits to the City and Surrey. ACCA or a similar qualification is required to qualify for this role. The Principal is a highly respected and likeable head of a successful international tech firm. This is a first-time hire with potential for growth.

Essential: Degree standard with a Family Office background or supporting an UHNW individual with high-level administrative support, planning, and management of personal investments and assets.

Must be an excellent communicator with keen attention to detail, experienced in handling paperwork related to multiple personal investments. Financially astute, loyal, discreet, and willing to be hands-on. Flexible, proactive, and able to work remotely with occasional site visits (Surrey or City).

Self-starter capable of implementing new systems, tracking private investments, and maintaining legal and administrative compliance.

Reporting directly to the Principal, overseeing private investments and personal assets in the UK and globally. Responsible for due diligence, managing investment processes, liaising with third parties, and conducting research on investment opportunities.

Review and distill information/documents regarding investments and assets for the Principal, ensuring timely handling of all matters. Maintain an organized electronic filing system for legal and investment documentation.

Provide analysis and commercial insights on private investments, monitor performance, and prepare summaries. Collaborate with accountants and lawyers as needed, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Manage personal finances, expenditure, insurances, budgets, property refurbishments, and personal staff contracts. Support with family assets including UK and international properties and transportation.

Assist with ad-hoc requests, travel with the Principal as needed, and attend external meetings on their behalf. Out-of-hours availability for urgent matters is required. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Build professional relationships quickly, liaise effectively with external providers, and demonstrate a helpful, down-to-earth personality committed to a long-term relationship.
