Join Gloucestershire County Council in a vital role within our Disabled Children’s service. We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker or Senior Social Worker to enhance our team, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Deliver high-quality social work services to disabled children and their families.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support and protection for children and young people in need.
* Participate in regular, robust supervision to continually improve service delivery.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Recognised qualification in Social Work.
* Must have passed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) if qualified after 2012.
* Full driving licence and willingness to drive.
* DBS clearance (Enhanced Adult’s and Children’s).

* Salary range from £39,152 to £40,777 for Social Worker, and £41,771 to £47,181 for Senior Social Worker, depending on experience.
