Join Our Team as a Pharmacy Technician!

In this role, you will ensure that patients receive the correct therapy regimen by accurately counting and labeling prescriptions. Your attention to detail will help maintain accurate drug storage records and conduct quarterly expiration date checks. Plus, you’ll play a vital role in inventory management and support your teammates to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Your Responsibilities
* Count and Label Prescriptions: Ensure patients receive the correct therapy regimen.
* Record Drug Storage Conditions: Handle excursions with precision.
* Conduct Expiration Checks: Perform quarterly checks to maintain safety.
* Maintain Inventory: Keep accurate bookkeeping for daily perpetual inventory.
* Team Support: Assist other team members to ensure overall success.
* Handle Biohazard Materials: Comply with OSHA guidelines.
* Receive Drug Orders: Follow SOP standards for efficient processing.
* Monthly Drug Inventory: Help keep our stock in check.
* Documentation Support: Assist the distribution team with accurate information for shipments.
* Additional Duties: Be ready to take on other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
* Pharmacy Operations Experience: Familiarity with the field is a plus.
* Attention to Detail: Precision in counting and labeling is crucial.
* Knowledge of Drug Storage: Understanding inventory management is key.
* SOP Compliance: Ability to follow standards for drug order receipt.
* OSHA Guidelines: Knowledge of biohazard material handling.
Additional Qualifications
* Reliable Transportation: Must be able to commute onsite 4 days a week.
Work Environment
You will thrive in a large specialty pharmacy, working onsite from 9 AM to 6 PM, including Saturdays. This role involves handling prescriptions and inventory in a regulated environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
