Pay Rate to Intermediary: £21.17 per hour + holidays + pension

Spinwell is recruiting for a Creditors Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
Responsibilities of the Creditors Manager
The postholder will be responsible for managing the Trust’s Accounts Payable section and team, implementing best practices for payment processes across the Finance Directorate and the Trust. They will support the department by providing financial information for monthly internal and external reports (e.g., Better Payment Practice) and statutory returns (e.g., Agreement of Balances).
They will be one of two staff in the creditors section, handling invoice posting and payments for goods and services. Responsibilities include posting invoices and credit notes, handling enquiries from suppliers and Trust departments, and maintaining high customer focus due to the high volume of calls. The role requires use of the Trust’s Finance system, procurement system, and Microsoft Office applications.
Skills and Experience
* Studying or partly qualified in a recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT Technical level or NVQ 4/5) or willing to undertake such training
* At least 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role and 2 years of staff supervisory experience in a finance department
* Experience producing high-level financial reports and analyses in accordance with NHS policies and financial legislation
* High computer literacy, with experience in computerized financial systems, Excel, and Word
