Salary: £24,119 - £26,552 (A28 - A31) per annum (pending pay review in October 2023)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Reaseheath College is offering a fantastic career opportunity to take you from HR Advisor to HR Business Partner, including financial support for your Level 7 CIPD qualification.
We are really keen to invest in future HR Professionals and are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a desire to progress to HR Business Partner within 3 years. The College will provide financial support to cover the cost of the Level 7 qualification as part of a three-year career plan. You will progress through the two years of study and a final year of consolidation before gaining the position of HR Business Partner. The College will ensure that you have all the exposure and opportunity necessary to gain your qualification and expand your generalist HR skillset. This is an ambitious career plan, and you will need to be dedicated and passionate about HR with the willingness to study alongside a full-time role.
The successful candidate will join our busy and thriving college, which employs over 600 staff.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a problem solver, with the ability to quickly build relationships with internal and external customers. You will already have some experience of working in HR, and you should be a member of the CIPD and qualified to Level 5 or equivalent. You should have a high level of IT skills and be a competent user of HR software packages.
As HR Advisor, you will provide generalist HR advice, support and guidance to managers and staff in your business areas, including recruitment, absence, conditions of service, policies, employment legislation and best practice. You will also work closely with the in-house Payroll Team and be responsible for preparing and checking monthly HR information ready for payroll. You will work under the line management of the HR Manager, and they will actively coach you within this role.
In addition, you will work alongside the Learning and Development Business Partner and Diversity and Inclusion Manager and support them in taking forward the learning and development and equality, diversity, and inclusion agendas for the college.
Experience of working within the Education sector, and knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding in relation to young people is desirable.
