We are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Technician Job Responsibilities Repair and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing component parts. Ability to fault find and have good problem solving and organisation skills. Use of hand and power tools. Use of measuring devices. Ability to read Technical Drawings. Read and understand specifications. Pipe fitting and plumbing techniques. Use of pipe fitting equipment including cutting, threading, jointing, bending etc. Planning of pipework system layouts, installation and repairs. Working knowledge of Industrial Steam Boilers. Industrial Steam Boiler Maintenance. Use of Welding equipment for welding pipework, components and structures. Use of Brazing and Soldering equipment. Experience of repairs and replacement of Motors, Pumps and Gearboxes. Experience with Chain drives, sprockets, belt drives and conveyors. Experience of Fan applications. Understanding of Pneumatic equipment and circuits. Ability to complete concise comprehensive work records and reports. Effective communication skills. Experience of dealing with demanding Client requirements. Person Skills An Apprenticeship served Mechanical and Engineering Maintenance Engineer ideally with Electrical knowledge to work on shifts with overtime working when necessary to provide breakdown and Maintenance cover on a varied range of equipment and machinery. Prepared to work at other sites within the Account to meet business needs. Must work well in a team and can work on own initiative. Must be self-motivating, flexible, resilient, able and confident.
