OverviewLooking to gain classroom experience or take the next step in your education career? Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Wellingborough. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering flexibility alongside valuable school-based experience.
Role Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during teacher absences
* Ensure students complete the work that has been set
* Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies
* Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues
Ideal Candidate
* Has experience working with young people (school-based or otherwise)
* Is confident leading a classroom independently
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
* Is reliable, adaptable, and professional
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
