We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson to work on an indoor pig unit in Greater Manchester, WN6.
The chosen candidate will assist the existing team on a 450-sow breeding unit.
Candidate Specifications:
* High pig husbandry understanding
* Ideally, 1 year + experience with commercial pigs
* Our client will also consider committed individuals who require training
* Good ability to maintain high welfare standards
* Self-motivated to achieve continuous performance improvements
* Enjoys working as part of a dedicated team
* Ability to take responsibility
* Willing to contribute towards continual improvement through new ideas and developments
Salary guide: £27,000 to £31,000 DOE
Plus, single-person accommodation on-site if required.
Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday, with every other weekend).
